MARCH 1st 2020 – “KICK OFF DAY”
What an amazing day down at Alderley Edge Tennis!
Over 100 Players on court in 3hrs enjoying a variety of activities.
The brilliant “Stuart Murray Tennis Schools Tournament” saw 7 Schools competing in both U9 and U11 age groups and 40 kids having a great time!
New to this event this Year were Manchester Grammar School (MGS) and they did amazingly well winning both age groups in close finishes. Thanks to all the Schools, Teachers, Parents, volunteer umpires and of course Kids that made the event a success!
Competing Schools were – MGS / Kings Macclesfield / The Ryleys / Nether Alderley / Mottram Academy / AECPS / Lindow
We also ran 3 different Coaching sessions – Mini Tennis / Junior Tennis / Adult Cardio that were a huge success.
Our Final Event of the Day was the “QUORN FAMILY CUP” which is always a huge success (and great fun to watch kids competing with their parents!). 10 pairs competed for the 2020 title and it was “The Murdocks” that came out on top in a close final against “The Clarkes”!!
